About us

Hare Krishna Hare Ram!

Mira Dal is a private organization in North India, located in Baltana town near Chandigarh. Our purpose is to serve humanity and promote love and brotherhood in society. For this reason, our organization is actively connecting communities through various forms of service.

Mira Dal runs several initiatives including daily Gau-Grass Seva (feeding cows), Anna Prasadam (food for all), Hari-Naam Sankirtan Mandal, services for girls, children and the elderly, environmental and wildlife protection, education and value-based classes, inspiration and awareness meetings, pilgrimages, and spiritual discourses.

Apart from our own members, friends from different states, clients, and many generous donors support our efforts. With their help, our organization conducts Anna Bhandaras (community feasts) on the second Sunday of every month at GMCH Hospital, Sector-32, Chandigarh, and on the last Sunday locally. Seeing the pain of hunger around us, by the grace of the Lord the thought arose to start this service, and with everyone’s support, it became possible. We humbly seek your blessings and cooperation. If you truly wish to experience real joy, feed the poor and helpless—this is the truest devotion and the highest virtue. With the support of all, we are able to continue successfully. Come, contribute, and help us build a beautiful society where no one has to struggle for food.
